Yay, jazz music! I'm in jazz band at school and I listen to jazz launchcast stations when I get a bunch of crap on mine. Jazz rules! ;D Woohoo! ;D I've always liked jazz, for as long as I can remember I was in the stage band in high school, hehe

Ooh cool ;D This past year was the first time I was in jazz band. The year before my teacher decided to have wind and brass ensembles. They weren't as fun as jazz band, though ;D

Eeep... my music teacher was obsessed with the brass band To be honest it wasn't all that good The stage band rocked though ;D We even recorded a CD, hehe The quality was a bit dodgy though.... if we'd had more money and time, it would have been wicked to take it to a proper recording studio, that would have sounded excellent

Oooh, awesome. ;D We always listen to the judges' recordings when we go to competition. It's really odd hearing yourself and 50-some others play. And it's really odd when one of the judges burps into the tape recorder or starts humming...really badly

Some of the things judges do is both disgusting and disturbing, but I'd imagine being bored--sitting there all day listening to one band after another and some that really, really suck

LOL yeah, it'd get pretty boring after a while... I wonder how the Idol judges cope... oh wait, they get heaps of money

Yeah And, for example, if you were Simon Cowell you'd be able to crush thousands of no-talent people who think they're the next best thing since sliced bread ;D

Yeah... ;D Except everyone thinks he's a total bastard... but that's just for show mostly Plus even though he's rude, he actually makes some valid points

Yeah, sometimes I really agree with him. His words are really harsh, but he's 'brutally honest'

LOL I think Paula and Randy are too kind to some of the people. Simon is the only honest one and I agree with him 90% of the time

Yeah Over here we've got weird judges as well... Ian "Dicko" Dickson is the Simon Cowell of Aust Idol... he's the one who says what he's thinking and isn't afraid to be brutal Marcia Hines is like Paula, in that she's nice and can get emotional over things... Mark Holden... don't get me started... he is the biggest prat... He comes up with all these weird words and phrases and doesn't make sense half the time
